Jason Bourne, suffering from psychogenic amnesia, is hiding with his girlfriend in Goa. The Agency won't let him be. Operation Treadstone's chief directors want Bourne silenced. His girl gets killed instead. Jason remains a step ahead of his enemies in Paris, in Berlin and in Russia. Joan Allen plays CIA Deputy Director who wants to get to the bottom. Brian Cox is exposed and kills himself. Needless to say, Jason Bourne wins and chooses freedom over rehabilitation. Matt Damon is in his elements, but one does miss a worthy rival to him.
