Aryan Khan has shown ample smartness in choosing to become a creator-director. A Superstar's son might or not be accepted as an actor, public cannot be relied upon to like your face or acting. But if you love films, know a lot about them, have enough contacts and finance and train yourself in various aspects, it is difficult to fail as a director-producer if you honestly keep at it. Son of SRK could not have been a greater star than his dad. He can become a great director and a powerful studio-owner in his own right if he plays his game right.
Aryan has begun well. TBOB does not go wrong, although it does not have any recall value. Performances are damn good. Laksh Lalwani and Sahher Bambba deliver the goods. Raghav Juyal, Manoj Pahwa and Mona Singh play their parts. Manish Chaudhari and Rajat Bedi are damn good. But the star of the show is Bobby Deol who carries on from the Animal. Many Bollywood A-listers have obliged the son of SRK with cameos. Smooth story-telling and unapologetic embrace of the capital B in Bollywood makes this series tolerable. Aryan Khan has had a safe landing. With a dad as smart as SRK, Aryan cannot go wrong.
