Mohit Suri knows how to engage the audience. Be it music, or passionate storytelling, he has a way that has worked more times than it failed. Saiyaara has become a rage among youngsters. Bollywood is starved for lack of romance and fresh faces. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda have a chemistry that makes 'cute' work. There is nothing else in the film except their needy romance and her Alziemer's. Writing is okay, pace is decent. For a director who has given us Kalyug, Zeher, Awarapan, Wo Lamhe, Murder 2, Ashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, music of Sayaara does not engage me in the least. I don't have much time to those Sufi croons anymore. But the film works, and the music works, and so best of luck to the lead actors and the director. Saiyaara, by the way, is an Urdu/Arabic word that refers to a planet or rotating/revolving celestial body.
