I always wonder who puts into such lame, limp, lifeless, defunct projects. The film is so thanda that you cannot watch in one, two or three sittings. The film makes stretched arguments in favour of gender equality, mutual respect, freedom of choice and meaning of partnership. Characters and situations are very artificial. There is nothing to generate interest. One can understand Fatima Sana Sheikh doing such a film because she has no other work. But Madhavan is a top actor. Why did he have to waste his time and ours by doing such a film. The only tolerable aspect of AJK is the shots of Kolkata. Netflix now specializes in producing such washout woke films.
