Special Ops 2.0 - Structurally infirm, but Kay Kay is Good

Kay Kay Menon is the best actor in India after Irfan has passed. He understands his role and character well and that reflects in his mannerisms. You won't have the RAW Operations' Chief behave in any other manner. Menon, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Karan Tacker and Muzammil were enough to pack the punch. I do not quite understand why Prakash Raj and his segment that reminds one of A Wednesday was drafted. It doesn't contribute anything to the main plot and rankles badly. Perhaps it was added to bash Gujjus or lend Prakash Raj's weight to the series. As for the main drama, an Indian ringleader gets to lay his hand upon Indian banking data which he intends to sell to the Chinese. AI is used with abandon; action takes place on screen without any apologies. Vinay Pathak is wasted, as Dilip Tahil and Parmeet Sethi. Saiyami Kher fails to impress in her cameo. If you take away Menon from the series, it would well-nigh become intolerable. Family Man was much better in execution.
