Vikram is the heart and soul of this revenge drama full of mindless violence. There is not much scope for anyone to do say or do much else. Vikram is beholden to a Gang lord and does his bidding. He is asked to make short work of a SP who is in turn hell bent on killing the Gang lord and his out-of-control son. Vikram is forced to play a many-faced game to save his family. The picture is watchable because Vikram does not disappoint. Also, his chemistry with Dushara Vijayan is very sweet. Why is this film named VDS part 2 is beyond my understanding.
