A wannabe singer is deeply in love with a cab-driver. They are looking for a house to live in after they are married. The girl has a lot of dreams, her lover's only dream is to fulfil all of hers. Life is simple and headed towards a predictable direction. Then greed, nay desperation takes over. The boy gets much too ambitious for his own good, or hers, and owns up a crime he did not commit. That proves to be the undoing of everyone and everything.
One is not sure if this should be classified as a tragedy or a tragic love story. Maybe to love is to invite trouble. Rakshit Shetty's sincerity takes the film to another level. Rukmini Vasanth's simple beauty and strong performance is the main axis of this film. You can still curse the hero for trying too much, but the heroine is 'just there'. She keeps waiting, like a rock, and suffers endlessly for it. SSE is wonderfully directed, and is a treat to watch!
