Same old Indo-Pak bullshit. Same old twisted storylines, and needless sermons on secularism, bhaichara and aman ki asha. What the fuck is wrong with these dumbos? Why do they try to portray that Pakistani leadership wants peace but some rotten apples in military establishment in Pakistan do not want that any cost. This is not the truth at all.
Anyway, Sidharth Malhotra runs some STF called as Yodha. He is emotionally attached to this unit since it was established by his father. He flaunts that negotiation is not his style, and puts the unit and ops in danger. One day his goose is cooked and he is declared persona non grata. Then happens the needless hijacking drama, and whole dragged sequence that leads into climax. Sid is OK in the role of a warrior, but the script does not have much going for him.
By the way, Raashii Khanna does have presence and skills to last in the jungle if she picks roles that have lines. Disha Patani is a big cipher who has no screen presence or dum. Sunny Hinduja in his cameo as villain comes across as younger brother of Jaideep Ahlawat.
Avoid Yodha if you can. If you cannot, breeze through it, but do not hope for any saving grace, for there is not any high point in the film.
