Irfan Khan is the sole saving grace of this film, which is poorly written and badly made. Juhi Chawla, a first time director, aims to cover a marriage for a TV network. When the family refuses, she and her producer (Manish Chaudhary) rope in Irfan Khan (an out-of-work family member) to help them put in the cameras. Lots of melodrama and exposes later, Irfan has a change of heart and wants to go back on the contract, but does it work like that. The film script had a good premise but pathetic treatment. But Irfan is at his comfortable best, and his chemistry with Juhi is superb. Of course, when she is left alone, Juhi has tendency to overact and spoil all the good work. Manoj Pahwa, Ninad Desai and Anang Desai have small roles each.
Watch this for Irfan, there is no scope for disappointment.
