Kevin Costner can do no wrong. Never have I seen anything where he looked out of phase. His steadfast presence as the patriarch of Yellowstone ranch is a guarantee that this means business. He runs the ranch and the town in the state of Montana with a heavy hand, and his ruthlessness makes him a man to be feared. The family is quite dysfunctional, as expected, and goes the Succession way, but with a farm twist. Kelly Reilly as Beth, his daughter, gets special mention for her bitchy charm. The tension between Broken Rock Indian reservation, YS Ranch, land developers and the national park forms the setting, and the cowboy culture and lifestyle dominate the showtime.
Watch it for the bloody ranch, or for the reliable Mr Costner, because this is one of the best series i have seen since watching Succession.
