Nicolas Cage goes over-the-top as an unhinged carjacker-cum-kidnapper. Joel Kinnaman keeps it cool throughout, but shows his true colours in the end. The film runs along a car's path through the night. The atmosphere is more irksome than tense. The film fails to engage, but Cage's fans might sit through this ordeal.
