The film has perhaps the worst beginning possible, then pulls itself up for some time, and finally collapses under the weight of its own stupidity. Such nonsense would have not worked even in the 90s.
Vicky Kaushal seems out of place in this setting. Kiara Advani can play any role without getting any applause. Bhumi Pednekar is okay, but so fucking what? Most viewers would have dropped out in the first half hour. Those who bear the tedium are rewarded by a predictable crime story. A big thumbs down to this film.
