A boy picked from the Gurudwara is anointed as the brother of four sisters by a dying mother, and sworn to not marry before he marries them off. This is the premise on which this film is based. Of course, there is a lot of society bashing thrown in. Dowry, body shaming, obsession with marriage and sons - the film has something to say on everything, and more often than not, it is not consistency. The writing is so bad that I have waived off my right to review/criticize this film, for it does not deserve it. Akshay Kumar is so loud and foul-mouthed that he puts you off in every frame. Bhumi Pednekar tries hard to play a sensible foil to her, but hey, how much can a girl do!
RB is pure waste of time. Watch only if you family is upon you to bear it.
