Kaithi (Tamil) - Karthi at his Best

 KAITHI 2019

Karthi is a blood and bones kind of a hero, and in Kaithi he gets to exhibit his real self. There is no stylizing, rather plain action, against the tyranny of time, and this is where the film scores. There is a realistic air about the whole drama involving intoxicated cops and drug cache which helps the audience to connect with the goings-on.

Fight sequences are of highest order, and the film does not end up degenerating into arms show. Knuckles and tackles are any day sexier. I found Kaithi to be better than Vikram for this reason. Welcome to the LCU.
