Pavan Malhotra dons the garb of a family-oriented police officer with such ease that it is easy to get lost in his world. He creates and navigates such webs of deceit, deaths and distress around him that one can barely breathe through exhaustion and suffocation. A happy family is visited by an uninvited trouble, and from then on, it is always a matter of covering up the tracks. The story retains its edge till the very last. The climax could have been a tad tighter. Supriya Pathak did not deserve exceedingly long footage towards the end. The supporting artists have played their part well, but Ranvir Shorey and Kanwaljit could have been utilized better. Tabbar turned to be an 8-part series, which I was forced to binge- watch. I did not have the option of taking a break, and that is saying something in today’s times.

Hats off to the writer, the casting director and the director too. As for Pavan Malhotra, give the bloody man his due!
