#TaapseePannu has tried everything in this film- gritted her teeth, dropped her pallu, seduced and kissed a guy, killed him and then ducked Polygraph test. Yet she does not come across as sincere in this role. The additional effort is much too visible.
#VikrantMassey is on a slippery slope. The last two years have not been very productive. He is sincere here, but ultimately looserish.
#HarshavardhanRane has some screen presence, but gets wasted here.
The love troika, the noir and even family sequences don't work. There is no soul in this film, much to the dismay of viewers.
The director has allowed much too traction to Pannu to boss around. That might be the reason she has overdone. VM is anyway a silent performer, and might not fit in leading roles. Someone like Ayushmaan might have done more justice to this role.
