With Danny Denzongpa in good form, and having Adil Hussein, Geetanjali Thapa, Brijendra Kala, Ekavali Khanna and Tisca Chopra at his disposal, the director should have made a much better film.
Dont get me wrong. The film is watchable, but never becomes more than a sum of its parts. It works because of the good performances,but is failed by its writer. Too much of social messaging, and no work in creating the depth of characters undermines the film.
Criminal waste of talent, must say.
