Ustad Hotel is a not a very well written film,and travels quite a long distance before reaching its conclusion. That said, Dulquer, and Thilakan (his grandpa) have delivered masterful performances. Food is present all through, but not quite in its full glory. The film is about follwing your calling, and finding a meaning in the life.
Its a very sweet and well-directed film which does leave one with lump in his throat.
