There is no trope that this film doesnt pick. Perhaps it aspired to be a woke rainbow project. But in the process it ended up becoming a convoluted checklist of liberal items.
A sexually dysfunctional marriage, a kid with gender confusion, a philandering husband, a philandering wife, a lynch mob, lynching of a Muslim boy, a runaway bride, dignity of job, greedy builders, lying lovers and what not- the plate is too full. Konkona, Basheer, Bhumi and Vikrant Messey are all reliable performers, but the film tries to say too much with much too bias.
The end result is a phanstasmagoria. It could have been much better.
