Clint Eastwood is the spokesperson, chief model and chronicler of American life. One can marvel at the great man's productivity.
When The Mule was released , he was already 88.
Eight fucking eight.
He plays a 80 year old drug mule who tries to reconnect with his estranged family between his runs. Clint does not have to try much. Being himself on the screen is enough.
I had reconciled to not seeing him on the screen after Trouble With the Curve (2012). But the Dad is in prime form as the mule.
Bradley Cooper does well as a DEA agent.
The Mule is not a film to be missed.
