Russel Peters stars in this extremely dull series as a Canadian constable who has been suspended for his incompetence, and who arrives to his native Mumbai to call upon his dad, Anupam Kher.
He pokes his nose into some local affairs, falls for a chick and also tries to solve a case back home in Canada. The accents are terrible, suppositions worse. The plot is mindless, treatment is soporific. This series does not even try to reach anywhere.
The jokes are lame, and characterizations dumb. Racial bias is very visible. The Indian Detective is an unwatchable fare.
