Tiger Shroff had become a moniker of mild abuse. Effeminate dudes in any gym were referred as such ,sometimes with scorn but mostly with affection. India could not have despised Jackie Shroff’s son, and that Tiger danced  well, was incredibly fit and a keen practitioner of martial arts even when he was starting out was obvious. With time and experience ,Tiger has been accepted as a mainstream hero. His lips are no longer red, the smile no longer effeminate. Voice has become huskier, wardrobe and looks a bit gruffy. Somehow kids have taken a shine for him. Tiger Shroff has now arrived in a big way and here to stay.

The less said about this film ,though, is better. Its not a bad plot, but very shoddy scripting and overall direction. He could have made a decent thriller out of it, but some old fashioned romance, emotional baggage and lame comedy has put paid to any such possibility. Disha Patni is easy on the eyes, but has no energy or acting skills. Manoj Vajpayee has been wasted in a rather routine villainous role. Then there is Randeep Hooda who plays a chillum-smoking, garbage uttering undercover cop. Why draft in good actors like Manoj,Randeep ,Dobriyal and Vipin Sharma if u cant use them properly ?

Puritans and old timers have penned down the Ek Do Teen remake in no uncertain terms. I don't see why ! It’s a beautifully shot, choreographed number and Jacqueline has given perfect expressions to go with it. Well she is not Madhuri, and lets get over the fact. Agreed it is out of place in the film, but then is this not an item-number driven music industry now ?

Is the film watchable? One might go for it ,if no money gets spent, and there is nothing better to do, not even an IPL match to watch.
